Our Previous Buyer's Draw, for $5,000.00, was drawn for on
February 18th, 2006 and was won by Jannie van der Haar of Bow Island, Alberta. Jannie is
pictured to the right.
Our Grand Prize Winner, Charlie Bourassa, from Lafleche, Saskatchewan, had a choice of one of six Grand Prize Packages.
Charlie chose the $150.000.00 Cash as his Prize. Shown to the left is Assiniboia Civic Improvement Association President, Bill Batty, presenting Charlie Bourassa and his wife Gwyn, with the Prize Winning Cheque. Charlie curls regularly in Assiniboia so has been in the Prince of Wales Complex, that the lottery raises funds for, many times. Charlie is our Grand Prize Winner who lives the closest to Assiniboia.
Charlie and Gwyn were taken to lunch with our executive and given a tour of the Prince of Wales Cultural and Recreation Centre to celebrate.
Our 2nd Prize Winner, Jerry Van Haur, from Hilger, Montana, with ticket no. 1569, chose to receive an
$8,000.00 Cash Prize! Jerry and his wife came to Assiniboia to pick up their prize. Shown are, from left to right,

Wales Cultural and Recreation Centre. The Van Haurs were treated to a tour of the Prince of
Wales Cultural and Recreation Centre to show them what the funds from the lottery benefit.
3rd Prize has been won by
Cory Pettersen of Gladmar, Saskatchewan. Cory had a choice of winning a 2005 John
Deere UV JD Gator TS utility vehicle, or $6,000.00 Cash. Cory chose to receive Cash as his prize.

Our 4th Prize winner,
Bruce Langhorst, from North Battleford, Saskatchewan, with ticket No. 0303,
has also chosen to receive a CASH Prize of $4,500.00. Bruce and his wife
Audrey, came to Assiniboia for the polkafest and an official Prize
