Grand Prize

This year's Grand Prize Winner, was Walter Marynowich, from Powell River, British Columbia. Walter has choosen to receive as his Grand Prize $150,000.00 Cash! Walter took a Grey Hound bus from Vancouver to Moose Jaw to come to pick up his prize. Walter is a widower with 4 children, two boys, and two girls, all who live in the Vegreville area. Walter is shown being presented with his Grand Prize cheque by lotto executive members. Shown in the picture is Lotto Co-Chair, Walter Chipak to the left, then Grand Prize Winner Walter Marynowich, then Lotto Co-Chair Lee Mountain, and director George Malesh. Walter joined our executive for brunch when he came to get his prize and told us lots of secrets to catching big salmon!

2nd Prize

Our 2nd place Prize has been won by Arthur Griffith from Kenville, Manitoba. Arthur choose $7,000.000 Cash as his prize. 3rd Prize

This year our third Prize was won by Rick Dobush from Vegreville, Alberta. Rick had a choice of winning a John Deere Gator or $7,000.00 cash. He chose to receive the cash prize.

4th Prize

Our 4th Place Prize went to Larry Purkess from Austin, Manitoba. Larry choose $6,000.00 Cash as his Prize!

5th Prize

To make all that yard work easier Everette Fauth, from Burstall, Saskatchewan has won an MTD 42" Hydrostatic Lawn Tractor, with 17.5 hp, Briggs & Stratton engine, mulch kit included, retail $2,575.27, supplied by Southland Co-op Ltd. Everette and his wife came to Assiniboia to pick up his lawn tractor. Previous Buyer's Draw February 14th, 2004

Our Previous Buyer's Draw for $5,000.00 CASH, drawn on Valentine's Day, was won by Larry Day, from Carnduff, Saskatchewan. Larry brought his whole family to Assiniboia to pick up his cheque. His wife, Lori Day, is pictured holding their son, Levi. Their daughter, Lexi in standing in front of Lori. Baby Lucas, the yougest member of the family, came too! Bill Batty, Civic Improvement Association President is shown presenting Larry Day (center) with his cheque, along with our two Lotto co-chairs on the right, Lee Mountain and Walter Chipak. The Day family and our lotto executive had a celebration lunch at R.B.'s Restaurant, in Assiniboia.
